Public speaking is the procedure of speaking to a set of people in a prearranged, on purpose manner future to inform, power, or amuse the listeners. The art and science of public speaking, particularly in a North American and Canada is spirited environment and is as well known as forensics. The word "forensic" is an adjective meaning "of public debate or an argument." The word is derivative from the Latin forensis, called "of the forum." The sense of the word "forensic", which means "pertaining to legal trials" dates from the 1600s (Oxford English Dictionary) and led to the use of the word "forensics" in reference to legal evidence.
