Bradshaw lights up York's night as speaker
On overcast, 18-degree day, Terry Bradshaw was arrogantly riding through the streets of Pittsburgh, celebrating the city's first Super Bowl title. With the smell of Iron City beer wafting from side to side the air, Bradshaw's float turned the corner and he was hit with a verbal assault from one of the city's hard-nosed fans:
"Hey blonde bomber, you better win that sucker again next year," the fan bellowed. The former Steelers' quarterback productively answered the demand leading Pittsburgh to a Super Bowl crown again in 1975 but the encounter was just one instance of the quarterback's sometimes-difficult relationship with Steeler fans and Pittsburgh's media.
