Conference points to future of non-profits
For nonprofit organizations all over the Hudson Valley, much attention is paid to insuring the organization's long-term constancy, efficiency and success. Later this spring, SUNY Orange's Institute for Nonprofit Leadership and Management will effort to help the area's non-profits sharpen their center on the future during the institute's Annual Conference, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.
"Looking toward the Future of Non-profits" will be the conference's subject as leaders and volunteers from non-profits throughout Orange County will meet at SUNY Orange's Harriman Hall. Seminars and workshops will be led by experts in the field of non-profit management. Anne Dalton, chief working officer of the Association of Junior Leagues International, and Diana Gurieva, executive vice president of The Dyson Foundation, will be the keynote speakers.
