Retired U.S. Army general to be keynote speaker for cancer

Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf will trip to Naples on Friday at The Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort for a form sponsored by The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute Foundation. The retired U.S. Army general will be the keynote speaker for a predictable 350 guests, counting retired Sen. Connie Mack, H. Lee Moffitt, Dudley Goodlette, ABC's Sam Donaldson, Moffitt Center Director and CEO Dr. William S. Dalton and Karen Dalton, and the event's co-chairs Joe Cox and Kimberly Speer Miller.

Schwarzkopf serves as Commander of Operations of Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He also has wage a personal clash with cancer and is now a spokesman for cancer research and patient care at Moffitt Cancer Center.
