Elevate HER: An Evening of Empowerment and Inspiration on November 15th

When we reflect on the journey of women and girls throughout history, we acknowledge the progress made but recognize the substantial challenges that still lie ahead. Bonded child slavery, human trafficking, gender discrimination, and financial inequality continue to persist, particularly in developing countries. Yet, we are not powerless in the face of these issues. Together, we can make a difference.

Education stands as a vital instrument for poverty reduction and risk mitigation. In Nepal, a mere $425.00 can provide a scholarship for a girl to attend school, while her mother can participate in a year-long mothers’ group. This support is not just about empowering her but also her family, her community, and her future. In Kelowna, the dedicated professionals at the Child Advocacy Centre work tirelessly to mitigate the impacts of child abuse and provide children with a safe space for healing and recovery.

Together, we can rewrite the narratives for women, children, and, ultimately, ourselves.

Join us on November 15th for “Elevate HER: An Evening of Empowerment and Inspiration.
